When a man’s wife learned he had abused her 7-year-old daughter, she set him on fire at their residence in Renton, Washington, in the United States. Her husband, Vincent Phillips, 52, was sleeping in his bedroom when his wife, Tatanysha Hedman, 40, drenched him in gasoline and set him on fire.
After escaping the house, he ran to the convenience store and yelled for help. He was seen running to the business on the security camera screaming, “I am on fire.” People stood there watching him cry “help me” and seeing him fall to his knees.
Cops came to the scene and claimed his wife set him on fire because he assaulted his 7-year-old stepdaughter.
While Philips is receiving medical attention for his severe burns and is charged with first-degree child molestation, Hedman is in jail on allegations of attack and fire.
