Mark is an American actor most well-known for his role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs on the show NCIS. He has also starred in a variety of other popular television series.
Pam Dawber has been married to Mark for the last 35 years and is also a working actor. She co-starred with Robin Williams in the highly acclaimed television series “Mork & Mindy,” where she is most recognized for her portrayal of Mindy.

She ultimately decided to go to New York City to seek a modeling career nonetheless.
Soon after her beginning in modeling, Pam Dawber shifted her focus to acting. Throughout the 1970s, she appeared in many television commercials.
But when she and Mark Harmon started a family, she decided to cut back on work, even though she had a great acting career.
The fact that Mark’s wedding ring is so unique says a lot about their wedding.
When I’m not working, I like to make sure I have a ring on my finger to show that I’m married and proud of who I’m married to. One of the factors Mark mentioned as to why he thinks their marriage has worked well is maturity.
“Maybe the stupid stuff we did earlier in life did not come our way because we were both in our thirties when we got married.”
He did, however, admit that they are very different from one another, which would suggest that, at least in their particular situation, opposites are attracted to one another after all.
Mark discussed the topic of marriage during an interview. He said that he didn’t have any particular philosophy when it came to choosing a life partner.
But “hope to be intelligent enough to choose wisely,” as the saying goes. I had to kiss quite a few frogs to get there, he said.
My point is that you learn, develop, change, and I’m not trying to cast aspersions on any of that.”
The pair’s commitment to privacy is likely one of the reasons why their marriage has been successful. They got involved in the 1980s, and since then, they’ve tried to keep their relationship somewhat private.
