Both tools are easy to use, but in my opinion, speechify’s interface is more useable compared to Natural Reader. As you can see Both interfaces are in the given screenshots.

- Quality Of Voices
Both Speechify & Natural Reader have a similar number of Voices But Speechify delivers way better voices compared to Natural Reader. Here are some samples of Voices quality of Speechify and Natural Reader.
- Reading Speed
Reading speed is much faster in Speechify than the Natural Reader. Speechify offers up to 900WPM, whereas Natural Reader has up to 540WPM. In my opinion, 540WPM is more than enough for everyone and 900WPM is too fast for an ordinary person.
I hope you hear both audios, Which are too fast for a normal person. The reason behind uploading these audios, To let you that this feature is useless 1.5 or 2x is more than enough speed to read text.
- Import Text
Both software can read PDFs, emails, web pages, book text, and so on. But, only speechify covert image text into the text that you can edit later. Which feature is missing in Natural Reader?
- Export Audio
The only feature I don’t like in Speechify is, We can’t export audio files from it. Whereas, Not only you can export audio from Natural Reader, But also you can convert audio into MP3 format.
- Translator
Speechify has options for the translator, which the Natural Reader doesn’t have. That translates text into the app or web-based tool.
- Cross-platform
Don’t worry about the device, whether you are using IOS, android, or pc. Because Both speechify and Natural Reader have apps for them. For pc, they have Chrome extension.
- Chrome Extension
Natural Reader’s Chrome extension is much better than Speechify. Because Natural Reader offers better control and interface. On top of this, Natural Reader has more features compared to Speechify Chrome extension. Here are the two screenshots of the Chrome extension of Speechify and the Chrome extension.
Our Recommendation
It depends, on whether you searching for free or premium software. If you are looking for free text-to-speech software to read articles, books read, or any other things to read, then you must go for the Natural Reader.
But, if you are looking for premium and better feature software, then Speechify is a much better option for you compared to the Natural Reader. Because Speechify has way better features and voices compared to Speechify.
Conclusion:
Speechify and the Natural Reader are the two best text-to-speech software to read book text, articles, docs, PDFs, and other content. These are mainly made for people who have problems with reading, But these days these are used to improve reading speed and productivity.
