A pregnant woman believes the angel kissing her unborn in a sonogram is her late father: “It took my breath away”

A woman from San Diego shared a picture from her ultrasound five months into her pregnancy on her social media account.

Messages began to pour in quickly. While some wished her well, others noticed what appeared to be an angel kissing the infant.

Shantel Carrillo came across the latter while looking through the comments. I couldn’t believe it. She confirmed this to Inside Edition.

And when she looked at the picture more closely, she realized that her deceased father was not just any angel.

She said, “It’s nice to look at and it’s a great story to tell,” adding, “It was honestly like a punch in the chest, like, how awesome it was to see that.”

Carrillo immediately obtained the old photo of her father and her first daughter.

Carrillo said the resemblance between the ultrasound image and the picture, in which he was looking down at the baby girl, was striking.

It has his nose, cheeks that are too big, and a double chin, and my father always wore a hat like that. It seems to be the bill of his cap and his lips are simply contacting hers so impeccably,” she told Fox5.

Tragically, Carrillo’s father passed away in 2016 following a heart attack at the age of 54. However, his daughter now holds the belief that his soul is still present and safeguarding his family.

She responded, “I can’t really think of it as any other way, if you knew my dad he loved to be the center of attention,” when asked if she believes her father is depicted in the image. It’s a beautiful thing that makes me feel like he’s watching over my new daughter.

Carrillo believes that if her father were still alive, he would have been overjoyed to hear about her second pregnancy.

As she attempted to attend the event, the photo suggests that he is beyond thrilled. She shared, “I feel like he’s including himself in this in some way, somehow.” “I think my dad would just be over the moon about it,” she said.

Her theory that the angel in the picture was not anything other than her devoted father, who will continue to watch over her family, is reinforced by the fact that her baby was due just a few days before her father’s birthday.

Carrillo now has something tangible that she can use to reassure her daughter that her father is not far away, even though he is no longer here.
