Following the emergence of social media, beauty is becoming more and more significant in our daily existence. To meet the present “standards of perfection” and maintain their youthful appearance, many people, including celebrities, are choosing cosmetic procedures.
Some of them, however, come to lament the procedures they underwent and come to the conclusion that what matters to them most is looking authentic and true to who they are.
Jennifer Lee Curtis
The 63-year-old actress admitted that she had attempted plastic surgery in the past, but “it didn’t work.”

Even after all these years, the celebrity is still adamantly opposed to aesthetic procedures.
According to her, “Generations of beauty are being wiped out by the present tendency of fillers and procedures, as well as this obsession with filtering.” “Once you mess with your visage, you can’t get it back,” she continued.
Justice Cox

The 58-year-old performer talked openly about pursuing youth through cosmetic surgery. The results, she admitted, made her appear “really strange,” and she did not like them. She ultimately had to remove every last one of her fillers.
You need movement in your face, particularly if you have thin skin as I do, she said after reflecting on her experience. I’ve had to learn to love movement and understand that enhancers are not my friends, she continued.
Jennifer Simpson

The performer and actress, 42, acknowledged getting cosmetic work done on her lips. She was, however, utterly unsatisfied with the outcomes.
It appeared phony to me, said Simpson. I did not enjoy that. Fortunately for her, the filler’s effects vanished after 4 months and her lips returned to their original contour.
John Fonda

Even at the ripe old age of 84, Fonda is renowned for her amazing body. Additionally, she acknowledged having a facelift, which she admittedly is not something she is proud of, even though she attributes her look to a healthy lifestyle and lots of exercises. The actress cited her desire to avoid “looking distorted” as the reason she quit.
Melanie Griffith

The 65-year-old actress regrets how drastically her visage was altered as a consequence of overdoing plastic surgery over 20 years ago.
She acknowledges that until people began pointing it out to her, she was unaware of the procedures’ excessively transformative impact.
Gwyneth Paltrow

The 50-year-old actor admitted that she used cosmetic procedures as a coping mechanism for her midlife crisis. She acknowledged getting anti-wrinkle injections all over her face when she reached 40, which she found “awful.”
One eye was actually higher than the other, and Paltrow admitted, “I looked horrible. It was certainly a big mistake.” Fortunately, she continued, it was only a short-term problem, and the procedure’s side effects subsided over time.
Jessica Grey

The actress, 62, acknowledged that getting a nose job in 1989 had a negative effect on her career.
Two years after becoming well-known due to the film Dirty Dancing, she underwent surgery and revealed, “I went into the operating room a celebrity and came out anonymous.”
“I’ll always be this once-famous actress nobody knows due to a nose job,” she continued.
Campbell Diaz

The 50-year-old actress revealed that she had previously received Botox injections but wasn’t happy with the outcomes.
It altered Diaz’s appearance in such an odd manner that she said, “No, I don’t want to [be] like [that].” I’d rather see my face aging, the celebrity continued, than a visage that doesn’t even belong to me.
She continued, saying, “Guess what this means, I’ve grinned my whole life. I don’t mind my laugh lines. I adore living. I’m relieved that I don’t object to that.
What are your thoughts on aesthetic treatments? Have you personally used them?
