Riley Reid, an adult film star, previously discussed how her ex-boyfriend made her feel “disgusting” because of her job.
The 31-year-old has been working in the industry since she was 19 years old, in 2010.

She has received high praise from publications like CNBC and LA Weekly, and in 2021, she was inducted into the X-Rated Critics Organization Hall of Fame.
However, if you’ll pardon the pun, it hasn’t been an easy ride for the Florida-born actress. In 2018, she spoke on an episode of Logan Paul’s podcast imPaulsive about how her job has affected her relationships in the past.
Even though Reid and Latvian free-runner Pasha Petkuns are now happily married and have a baby girl named Emma, she admitted that it wasn’t easy to find someone who would value her as a person and be okay with what she did for a living.

After Reid returned home from work, it appears that one ex-partner refused to kiss her on the lips. She claimed that because of this, she felt “disgusting” and like she ought to quit.
He made me think that maybe I should quit and do other things, and when I got home from work, he didn’t want to kiss me. As a result, it made me feel like a horrible person.
“And I’m not horrible! “It’s harsh,” she continued. He told me that, and it was so horrible.
In addition, Reid was forthright about the fact that the men in her life have forced her to choose between them and her job and that several of her previous relationships have resulted in ultimatums.
Reid wrote: “In a 2021 Instagram post that has since been deleted, I’ve never had a boyfriend who was happy for me at work.
In my adult life, I’ve had two “normal” boyfriends, “normal” meaning that they don’t do porn. Both of these situations ended with a choice: porn or them.
I always went with porn. However, I’ve struggled with that choice, questioning whether I’ve made the right choice.

In 2022, she added: I thought I hated porn because my ex was so anti-porn, but then I realized I just hated him.”
Fortunately, now that she is a mother to a young girl, her doubts are irrelevant. She posted a picture of herself holding her daughter to Instagram and captioned it with a sweet ode to her “newly founded family,” writing: I will always be grateful for my newly formed family.
Patkuns, I adore you and will always be grateful to you. I love you so much as a husband and Emma loves you even more as a father.”
In the caption, she went on: I am so happy to spend every day with you because you are so present in each and every one of our interactions.
I am grateful that you chose me to be your wife, best friend, and life partner. Emma, you have been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I adore and adore you beyond comprehension.
